#dwellondesign 2013: kitchens!

Dwell on Design 2013 was last weekend at the L.A. Convention Center. Five posts in five days - can she do it? Regular visitors know I am good for one or two posts a week. But I have too much good stuff to show you. I am planning a kitchen remodel so I was especially drawn to anything that whispered kitchen.

Let's get the kitchen stuff out of the way.

Much to my husband and son's horror, any construction fence ajar is simply seen as an invitation. And I brake for all open houses. Now that I am in full remodel planning mode, my sleuthing has gone into over-drive.

mid-century modern kitchen tour and why i want to remodel

This tour certainly won't take long. Our kitchen is thirteen feet long, and the aisle down the middle is a few inches shy of four feet wide. The total width including the counters (not including the breakfast bar) is an impressive 7 1/2 feet. You can see 100% of the kitchen, every drawer, cabinet and appliance from one photo.
